Cydcor and its team members were also able to fill four boxes of binders, paper, padfolios, pens and pencils to be personally delivered to the school in Ethiopia. The money will be used to purchase student school and arts supplies, which are often limited or non-existent.

Joke time: Giving Up Wine

From my inbox.

I was walking down the street when I was accosted by a particularly dirty and shabby-looking homeless woman who asked me for a couple of dollars for dinner.

I took out my wallet, got out ten dollars and asked, 'If I give you this money, will you buy wine with it instead of dinner?'

'No, I had to stop drinking years ago', the homeless woman told me.

'Will you use it to go shopping instead of buying food?' I asked.

'No, I don't waste time shopping,' the homeless woman said. 'I need to spend all my time trying to stay alive.'

'Will you spend this on a beauty salon instead of food?' I asked.

'Are you NUTS!' replied the homeless woman. I haven't had my hair done in 20 years!'

'Well, I said, 'I'm not going to give you the money. Instead, I'm going to take you out for dinner with my husband and me tonight.'

The homeless Woman was shocked. 'Won't your husband be furious with you for doing that? I know I'm dirty, and I probably smell pretty disgusting.'

I said, 'That's okay. It's important for him to see what a woman looks like after she has given up shopping, hair appointments, and wine.'

Put your car keys beside your bed at night!

Here's a good tip for us to share and to pass it on to our friends:
Tell your spouse, your children, your neighbors, your parents.. your Doctor's office, the check-out girl at the market, everyone you run across.

Put your car keys beside your bed at night. If you hear a noise outside your home or if someone is trying break in your house, just press the panic button for your car. The alarm will be set off, and the horn will continue to sound until either you turn it off or the car battery dies.

This tip came from a neighborhood watch coordinator. Next time you come home for the night and you start to put your keys away, think of this:

It's a security alarm system that you probably already have and requires no installation. Test it. It will go off from most everywhere inside your house and will keep honking until your battery runs down or until you reset it. It works if you park in your driveway or garage.

If your car alarm goes off when someone is trying to break in your house, odds are the burglar/rapist won't stick around... after a few seconds all the neighbors will be looking out their windows to see who is out there and sure enough the criminal won't want that.

And remember to carry your keys while walking to your car in a parking lot. The alarm can work the same way there ...

This is something that should really be shared with everyone.. It could save a life or from a sexual abuse crime.

P.S. I am sending this to everyone I know because I think it is fantastic Would also be useful for any emergency, such as a heart attack, where you can't reach a phone.

It's a good idea for Mums, Dads, Grandpas/mas to carry the car keys with her/him in case she/he falls outside and no one hears her/him. She/he can activate the car alarm when there's a problem.

A good idea for men and women alike.
Make sense, doesn't it?

Titanium rings

I am not the type of girl who loves wearing jewelries. I have them. I love to have them. But I don't wear bracelets, necklaces or even earrings on a daily basis. The only jewelry that I love to wear are rings. I owned a lot of rings. I only needed a diamond ring and titanium rings to replaced my lost wedding ring to make my collection complete!

Birthday gift

My son's birthday is coming up soon and I wanted to surprise him with a golf bag. But with the huge selection of golf bags I see online, it is kind of hard to choose which one would suit him the most.

I know the golf bag has to be his favorite color, green. A stand would be nice so that the bag doesn't get muddy. And it has to have wheels for ease in transporting. Do you think he needs all these basic requirement?

Portable Air Conditioner

From our place, a centralized air conditioner is not very advisable since we have longer winter days than summer. But during the peak of summer, it can get too hot and quite uncomfortable to sleep at night. So most of the people I know have portable air conditioner at home. It's small, it's compact, and can easily be move from one room to the next. I told my husband that we should get one for next summer.

Golf Accessories

Are you looking for golf accessories? Look no further. Golfballsandaccessories.com have a huge collection of different golf balls brands, golf bags, gloves and tees that you will need to win your first tournament. And you can get them for a good price!

My friend recently started an online business selling stuff, sort of like a middle man for other bigger online companies. Now, he found the perfect internet marketing company to fully optimize his business website in search engines. Being available in search engines is the ultimate key to a successful business.

Playing golf

My son loves playing golf. His dad doesn’t play. I don’t play. But somehow he had shown interest in playing golf. So for the past 2 summers, he had golf camp. I got him his own golf set and now he wants a golf bag with a stand and lots of golf balls as he easily lose them.

Christmas giveaways

Christmas is just around the corner and its time for businesses to think or come up with their Christmas giveaways. One of the things that I find very useful and a true value for money are t-shirts, caps and visors.

So if you need custom screen printing, TheGraphicEdge.com has the perfect selection for you. Customize it to your business promotion and advertising.

On Sale!

Used golf balls are now on sale at http://www.golfballsandaccessories.com.

The best ball in the market, the Pro V1's and Pro V1x's are on sale for as low as one dollar each. Think of the huge saving for all avid golfers! I just placed my ordered for my brother-in-law and cousin who are both addicted to golfing.

Christmas is just around the corner. And this is the season of loving and giving!

Every year, I go through their list and choose one gift that will be "from Santa," another gift from mommy and daddy, and one from the other sibling.

If you are a bit low on cash, you might want to consider Payday Loan. Get instant online approval. No credit needed. If you need a quick loan but don’t have access to a fax machine, they also have the No Fax Pay Day Loans that will get you approved, fast and easy.

    Lap-Band

Journeylife has a comprehensive weight-loss surgery program known as laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding or simply known as lap-band cincinnati. If dieting and exercising hasn’t work for you, then maybe this new Lap-band procedure may be for you. This procedure does not require cutting, sampling, rerouting of intestines or partial removal of stomach. A surgeon simply inserts an inflatable gastric band through laparoscopic incisions and positions the band around the upper portion of your stomach. And this procedure, if it didn’t work, is completely reversible and adjustable.
