Checking it twice

I have a friend who loves to travel. They go camping and a lot of road trips especially now that it's summer time. Recently, they went for a long drive to another province with some friends.

Just this week, she finds out that her insurance coverage has expired and she didn't get any letter or new auto insurance quotes from the insurance company reminding her of the expiration of her insurance.

It's a good thing nothing happened to them or to the car during that last road trip, or else they will be in big trouble since the insurance expired shortly before that trip.
