This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of SEO 5 Consulting. All opinions are 100% mine.
Last year, I received a birthday invitation, and at the bottom of that invitation is a phrase that said "You may choose to donate your money on behalf of the birthday celebrant instead of a birthday gift. Thank you in advance." I think this is a very good idea. My kudos to the celebrant and her family.
One of my goal is to be able to sponsor a child. It is a very huge commitment, and I am still trying to contemplate if I am ready for this kind of a long-term commitment or not. Anyway, if and when I do get ready, I wanted to support Plan Canada.
If you have the capacity and the dedication, you can help an entire community of children leave poverty behind. For as little as $35 a month or just $1 a day, you can invest in grassroots programs that will help local people build schools, train teachers, empower girls, dig wells, run health clinics, start small businesses, and much more.
Since I can't commit to this long-term child sponsorship right now, every year, on my birthday, I made it a point to make charitable donations. I mean, I donate to the church on a regular basis, but during my birthday month, I made donations to different charitable organizations, worldwide.
